Tour Wayne County Historic Sites

The Wayne County Historic Sites project was designed to document locations of interest to historians, genealogists, and those interested in local history. MOST sites are on PRIVATE PROPERTY and therefore are NOT OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. If you wish to view sites on private property, you MUST do so from PUBLIC STREETS ONLY. Only the owner of record may authorize you to enter private property. PLEASE RESPECT PRIVATE PROPERTY OWNER RIGHTS.

Local historians have selected sites for this project based on a variety of criteria. Some sites may have been chosen based on local interest and not necessarily on rigid historical standards. The goal of the Wayne County Historic Sites project is to provide accurate information about each site. We realize mistakes occur and we may not have as much information as some would like. We encourage YOU to contact us at contact@waynehistorians.org with additional information OR notify us about any errors.
