Historic narrative:
This marker was obtained through a grant from the Sons of the American Revolution and the William G. Pomeroy foundation. It identifies the general location of local Revolutionary War settlers graves including Samuel Eddy, Jr., Ivory Simmons, Obadiah Archer, and Solomon Leonard.  There may be others but we were not able to complete documentation at this time. This marker was dedicated during the Memorial Day ceremony on May 23, 2025.
