MRS. JACOB TERNOOIS HOUSE


Located on a private road (now Buck Lane) a few yards from and parallel to the Halcus Road just off the Lake Road, this house is owned by Mrs. Jacob Ternoois.


STONES: The lake polished stones are mostly red.


JOINTS: The horizontal joint is a V. The courses are 3 inches.


MORTAR: The mortar is much weathered, light in color and fine in texture.


QUOINS: The sandstone quoins are even but untooled.


LINTELS: The lintels are vertically laid sandstones.


Back: Large field, and some cut stones are to be found at the back.
