Original Owner: C. B. Adams Year Built: 1850 Period: Late Style: Greek Revival Here's a good example of late period work in a 2-story farmhouse. A date stone is inscribed “C. B. Adams 1850.” It was built with small, red cobblestones with a wide frieze and medallions in the gable ends (missing from the north side.) Also note the herringbone pattern on the north side with small oval cobbles (1 to 1.5 inches) set at the diagonal.
