Description:
The Walworth Historical Society is now on this site.  Since the copper beach tree was planted while the church was there, we assume that the church must have been on the same spot the current WHS building is.

 
1874 Atlas shows Congregational church on this site.
 
Historic narrative:
Organized in 1832, the congregation built a stone building near the current Historical Society building. The society closed in 1890 and the building is no longer there. No pictures have yet been discovered.
