Description:

The Lincoln Volunteer Fire Department formed in 1947 serves the northwest portion of the town of Walworth, NY. We provide a wide array of services to our community including but not limited to: Fire protection, rescue services including automobile extrication at car accidents, Haz Mat first response and EMS first response assisting the Walworth Ambulance. In addition to these services provided in our fire district, we also respond when called into neighboring fire districts such as Walworth, West Walworth, Ontario and Webster as needed. When the need arises they also come to help us. All services are provided on a 24 hour a day 7 days a week basis.

The town of Walworth is primarily a residential community. The majority of our population works in neighboring Monroe County. There are still a few farms left with many active farm fields in the area.

The Lincoln Volunteer Fire Department is a 100% volunteer organization with no paid staff of any kind. In an average year, we run approximately 160 calls. This number has steadily risen over the past 20 years.

The department meets the 1st Monday of every month for our monthly business meeting. Drill / practice nights are the 2nd and 3rd Mondays. There is also the occasional weekend or off night drill.

New volunteers are always welcome to come in and see what we are about. If interested go to the contact us link or stop by on a Monday night or whenever you see someone at the Firehouse
