Gould Cut Limestone house

Description:
Built c. 1813, this is one of the earliest houses in the Town of Walworth.  It reflects the Federal style of architecture.  

The Hoffman Essay listed is available for viewing at the Wayne County Historians Office,  the Newark Public Library and the Walworth Historical Society.  

This property is a significant site related to the Underground Railroad.  (see link below).  The pages directly associated with the Gould House are Page 351-354).
