Description:
Greek Revival on village green.  Built by Benjamin Rush Lummis between 1856 and 1860. Sold to E.H. Harriman. Donated by Harriman to Episcopal Diocese of Buffalo as retreat for ministers. Historic narrative:

Built by Benjamin Rush Lummis 1856-1860. Home of E.H. Harriman, who began his railroad empire by improving the local rail line and selling it to Penn Central R.R.
