72 MAPLE AVENUE, SODUS

This house on 72 Maple Avenue is unusual in two respects first, it has concrete pilasters. Second, and I believe more important, there are no definite vertical joints. Instead the Horizontal has no boundaries and extends continuously through the course thus;

STONES: The red lake stones are 2 - 3 1/2 x 2 inches. Courses are 3 Inches high.

JOINTS: The horizontal V (in this case the space between the stones), is 1/2 to 1 inch wide.

LINTELS: The lintels are wooden.
