Historic narrative:

Style: Greek Revival

This house is missing the lintel over the front door. It was built with small, red, lake-washed cobblestones. The wooden lintel  had a raised segment in the middle of the top.

NEVERLESS HOUSE ON RIDGE ROAD


Located on the Ridge Road west of .Sodus and just west of the Keefe House, this home is owned by Ave Neverless.


STONES: The red lake stones are 1 1/2 - 3 x 1 3/4 - 2 inches. Courses are 2 3/4 to 3 Inches high.


JOINTS: The horizontal V is 3/4 inches high. Vertical joints are V's and pyramids.


Mortar:The mortar is brown and fine.


QUOINS: The red sandstone quoins are tooled.


LINTELS: The lintels are wooden.


STONES: The lake stones are larger at the sides.


Back: Larger lake and field stones are at the back.
