Historic narrative:
The Methodist Episcopal Church of Marion organized in 1845 and re-organized in 1854 when a pastor was installed. They built a frame, 28'''' by 40'''' building, 28'' x 40'', with 36 inch x 58 inch stained glass windows. It dedicated it in 1855. The church closed in 1919. Since then the building has housed a  movie theater, music store, an auto repair business and is now a residence.
