Historic narrative:
According to Barbara Anderson, her father, Raymond Anderson, and mother, Mary DeVoogt Anderson, purchased the building in 1941.  The building was previously located farther in from the corner on Ball Rd. but her father built a foundation in front of the building closer to what is now Route 21 N. never expecting that the highway would be expanded at some point in the future.  He then remodeled the building, putting it on the new foundation, adding a front porch, a back porch and a garage. As told to CDevlin 4/20/2023
