Historic narrative:
Organized in 1910, the congregation rented the Grange Hall for a year until a frame building was built on Mill Street in 1911. After the building burned in 1915, the current building was erected in 1916. The interior has many examples of pressed tin plates and moldings. The church was rededicated in May 1926 when a pipe organ was added, hardwood floors were put into the auditorium and pews were installed in the balcony.  The left front doors came from a Church in the Netherlands.

In 1972 the church purchased land behind them for parking space and the Marion Canning Company Warehouse for a youth center. In 2012 the youth center roof collapsed. It was quickly replaced.
