The Society of Friends built their first meeting house on the northeast corner of Rt. 31F and Canandaigua Rd.  In 1829 the Society split and the Hicksites kept the original property. The Orthodox group moved to the southeast corner of the intersection to build this meeting house. The Society closed by 1925 and the building has been a Grange and various businesses since. There is a Quaker cemetery on the east side of the building. The 1845 Temperance Monument is next to the driveway.
