Historic narrative:

The Trail of Hope – part of Trail Works’ Forever Wild for Everyone project – is handicap accessible and open to people of all ages and abilities. It has been dedicated to Jim Tuscher (Lyons Class of 1957), who had spent his life as an advocate for people with disabilities, and to Leigh Ann Henry (Lyons Class of 2006), who, due to an injury sustained in an auto accident, is now confined to her wheelchair.


LOCATION: 9 Manhattan St., Lyons NY (Lyons Community Center parking lot)

LENGTH OF TRAIL: varies, 1/2 to 3/4 of a mile

DIFFICULTY: the Trail of Hope is a “Forever Wild for Everyone” trail

PASSPORT MARKER: the northeast part of the trail, back in the “Native Way”
