Black Brook Park

One of the “Fifteen Miles on the Erie Canal” trails. A historic site of the Enlarged Erie Canal on over 20 acres. Wooded trail parallels Clinton’s Ditch and the Enlarged Erie Canal, crossing old foundations and locks.

LOCATION: 8472 Old Route 31, Clyde, NY 14433
LENGTH OF TRAIL: ~2.75 miles linear, 5.5 miles round trip.  This is a designated Forever Wild for Everyone Trail for
DIFFICULTY: easy
PASSPORT MARKER: when entering from the park, head to the right (west), and you’ll come to a bridge.  Cross the bridge, and the post will be on your left.
