Historic narrative:
Superintendent Wilcoxen and Freight Agent Kavanaugh of the Rochester & Sodus Bay railway came to town Friday. They were met by Prof Curtiss, and the location for the new station at Wallington was settled. It will be on the north side of the main highway. We venture to remark that it is possible that a store may be opened in one section of the depot. This would allow the proprietor to look after both the store and station. (Page  4 of Record, published in Sodus, New York on Friday, December 6th, 1901)
