Historic narrative:
There were three different schools built on this site. Clarissa Crafts was teaching in this district when she met and married Seymore Covell for whom the district is named. The building was torn down in about 1930 by Leon Knapp, who owned this building and used the materials to build his garage at what is now the Pascarella home.
