Church turned carriage house, (by Loreen Jorgensen)

Historic narrative:
This congregation organized in 1835 and built a frame church in 1850 200 feet west of Rt. 89. In 1853 Antoinette Brown (Blackwell) was ordained here by the Congregational Church because their roof was leaking. The church closed in 1899 and the neighbors on each side bought the building, turned it sideways and used it as carriage houses. It collapsed in the winter of 2012.
