The plaque reads: SITE OF EARLY MEETINGS OF CLYDE GRANGE NO. 33 ORGANIZED JANUARY 8, 1874 DEDICATED TO THE TOWN OF GALEN FARMING COMMUNITY WHOSE COURAGE AND ENDURANCE GAVE US ALL A BETTER LIFE.
