Site Name:Glover SpringGPS Coordinates:43.06004, -76.85639
Address:1363 Glover Rd. Clyde New York about 100 ft. south of the intersection with Tyre Road, Clyde, NY
Description:
The Glover Spring is an artesian spring in which the water flows naturally to the surface. When you drive up all you see is a metal pipe with a smaller PVC hose sticking out of it.

It really doesn't look like much, but there is no water pump attached. (LA Jorgensen photo)From Google Maps

Historic narrative:
For years people in Clyde had water "so hard, you couldn't boil beans." So they drove out to Glover Spring and filled up  bottles and jugs for drinking and cooking. Is it safe to drink? The water has not been tested in several years. But people are still filling jugs with its water.
